MEALS
Pre-registration for the workshop provides you with the option of pre-paying for lunches ($20/each). The Chao Center for Asian Studies will also host an afternoon coffee break.
If you do not register and pay for meals in advance, you may purchase food on-campus or bring your own lunch.

Sammy’s Cafeteria in the Student Center serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian hot main dishes, burgers, pizza, burritos, baked potatoes and sides.
13th Street in the Student Center serves sandwiches and panini for lunch, as well as Smoothie King yogurt and fruit smoothies. In the morning you can buy breakfast tacos and burritos. In the same space is a convenience store with snack foods, prepackaged salads and basic needs such as aspirin.
Valhalla, a bar housed in Keck Hall, offers a $5 sandwich/chips/drink meal deal. The sandwiches are made each morning at the local Jersey Mike's.
Dirks Coffee in the Brochstein Pavilion sells yogurt, pre-packaged salads, snacks and traditional pastries, in addition to coffee.

On Campus Coffee Shops:
Dirk's - This coffeehouse sells a variety of coffees and teas as well as snacks and wine. It is located in the Brochstein Pavilion, a glass structure on the opposite side of the Fondren Library.
The Coffeehouse – This is a student-run shop in the Memorial Student Center, across from two food vendors, 13th Street and Sammy’s. They serve fair-trade coffee and tea, bagels and pastries.
